Me with a Kid?

I had this weird dream 3 days ago, all my dreams are weird and this one is not exceptional.

I found a little kid so tiny and cute; he looked like me when I was one year old. I took him with me to the place where I want to be right now….to the university. I could feel how light he was when I was carrying him and the picture of his smile is still in my mind.

We went to the toilet; he told me that he want to drink "Almara3y" milk! I asked him to stay in the toilet until I come back…as stupid action as it sounds, I left him in there and made my way to the cafeteria. Before I leave building J, I thought "How can I leave him there alone?" so I went back…

When I went into the toilet, I was heart-broken to see him about to cry. I carried him … in the lobby I saw him looking at a little girl who was with another student…I smiled and we went to the cafeteria….

When I was out, I saw that there was a carnival in the campus. I walked a little then I saw F, S and Ry…I wanted to fix my Shalya so I asked S to hold him for me. In that moment, I saw Mr. D talking to one of the teachers…I think it was Mr. BG. When he finished talking, I went to Mr. D with F, S and Ry. When Mr. D saw the kid, he said, "What is this?"…I thought to myself "What is this? What a question!" but I answered him "My son…he was sure I was joking. When Mr. D wanted to carry the boy ….I awok...it was one of my strange dreams as you can see

Back but NOT for long....2

The road was so crowded, it reminded of the last time M took me to the. We arrived there at 10:45 am, M stayed in the car though I offered him to come with me because I assumed that there were no girls in there….but he preferred staying in the car. When I went in, I felt like I was off for a long time. When I saw J building I could not help it but to go in. I wanted to see Ms. E but she was not there so I went to see S but she was not there either! I saw Ms. J, who was surprised to see me, I asked her about S she was not sure if she was in. so I went to ask the guy next door Mr. Dn who was SHOCKED to see me "What are you doing here?!" he said. I asked him about S and he said that she was off that day! I was really disappointed. I thanked him, offered him some chocolate and went to the library.

Before I go in, I went to the Coffee bean for the last time where I saw some teachers. To say the truth, I was happy to see them but I did not expect them to be in for a long time. Ms. C, Ms. J, Mr. Tn, Ms. P and my ex-teachers Mr. G and Mr. B were there as well. I was teased as usual but it was so good to see them again. I was happy to see J ,the one who works in the Coffee Shop, I asked her to make 2 mocha for me and M. I wanted a mocha latte but the weather was so hot.

I went to the library to borrow books not novels BOOKS. I found couple of them The Soccer War, Women and Human Rights in South Asia and other which carries similar titles. I went back to the car at 11:07 am and then we made our way to BC again.

There I met a Japanese student 10 years old and his mom. When I saw them "Ohayo Kuzaimas" which means good morning. They were surprised and happy but they became more stunned when I told them and mentioned to them some Japanese music, drama and anime I know. It was so nice meeting them and maybe I will go back there some day.

Back but NOT for long....1

The first day of the holiday was….well; I don’t remember anything about it except starting to read novels I borrowed from the university's library. Before I read them, I had a look at them; they were 13 novels, which you can say can be enough for 26 days! In Tuesday, I asked M if it is ok with him to take me to the university in the following day coz I wanted to borrow more books. Usually, he drives my brother A and cousins to the British Council in Shj so he agreed.

I was excited in that day because I wanted to visit the British Council and go to the university. Before we leave UAQ, we stopped near a gas station where I bought breakfast and chocolate for my cousin – the other two could not make it – and brothers. Besides, I bought another packet for whomever I may meet in the university.

In the way I thought to myself "Well, I guess one day is the longest time you can be apart from your university". First, we went to the BC, it was in one of the tall buildings in Shj, I felt a different kind of atmosphere over there…many people from different parts of the world were there to study English! My cousin went to his class while A stayed with me and M in the internet room…then I heard M saying "Lets go to the university"

The Last Day....P2 "Farewell but NEVER Goodbye"

After the exam, I had a chat with friends in A building then I gave F and Ry's locker keys back to where it belongs as they asked me in the day before. Ma and her friends invited me into a party in the same J115 classroom. We had a chat and watched funny stuff besides watching some videos for Westlife and Nsync.

I continued what I started in the day before which was giving every single teacher I know something to remember me with. Each peace was different than the other…it was not easy but I enjoyed writing them. It was amazing to go back in time and remember some funny, sad and embarrassing situations happened with some teachers.

I went to see my English teacher Mr. S coz he was the one who read chapters of my novel and gave me some advices about how to improve them. I chose him because he is my English teacher and he has time for me as his student, more than any other teacher does. He gave me some advices about my chapter and wished me luck in completing my novel.

I gathered with Ms. E at lunch along with Ms. S, and Ms. M. we had such a lovely conversations. In the afternoon at 3 pm, I went to see Ms. E because I was not sure if I would see her again….she is leaving the country and that makes me really sad. When I went in there, I saw Mr. D with her!! We had a laugh and chatted as well…Those were the last 2 people I saw in that day.

Later I left the university with a smile…I said goodbye to my teachers, ex-teachers with a smile instead of tears…I will miss them, and I hope that the will not forget me because I will never forget about them…so farewell but NEVER goodbye….

The Last Day....P1 "Stressful Morning"

That morning when I awoke, I looked at the roof for a second and smiled "Today I am going to close another chapter of my life" … it was the day when I said my huge second "Goodbye" to my university....before I leave my room, I had a last look at it remembering "It is the last time to leave my room heading to the university"…

I sat near the house's gate waiting for the bus, my Dad joined me and had all kinds of conversations with me but the bus did not arrive. Dad shocked me when he said that it was 6:30 am!! I was stressful because I was afraid to miss my Islamic exam at 8:15 am. When it was 6:45 am, Dad asked me to wake M up! I did not think it’s a good idea because if I did, he would take me to Dubai then come back to UAQ to take my brother A and cousins to the student council in Shj and that would tire him…but Dad said that M will take me to Dubai then he will go to the BC and Dad himself will be the one who will take A and my cousins to the BC.

A a friend of mine came to the house and told me that the bus is suffering for a damage so I had to ask someone to take me to the uni. I found it a MUST to wake M up… around 7:00 am we were on our way. I was afraid that there would be a traffic on the way, and my fears became true…there was a huge traffic in the way. M turned on the music and we sat listening and waiting for the traffic to end but it did not…we stuck in there for about 40 min!! but I made it to the uni at 8:03, I thanked M and went in…..

I did not want to go straight to the auditorium were the exam so I went to see S. I wanted to say hi and welcome her back since she was absent for couple of days. I was so happy to see her and I went to the exam….the exam was easier that I ever expected it to be and I finished it in around 40 min.

Truth & Dare!!!

In the next day, Sunday, I had to do my humanities' final exam, which was good. And I did not see my friends till after 12 pm. Around 3 pm F, Ry, M, S and I played "Truth or Dare".. and it was FUUUUUN!! My turn came twice; when I said "truth", they asked me if I am engaged…my answer was "No I am not! End of the story" and in the second time which I chose "Dare'' they asked me to go to Mr. Do's office and smile at him then to come back! I was not sure about this one but I had to play the game.. On my way I was hoping that he already left!! And he actually did!!!! I was saved…

The things which were funny as well were when Ry's turn came and she was asked to hold one of her shoes in her hand, run around the building and say in a high voice "I AM STUPID" in every corner. She did not have the courage to do that but she held one of her shoes, walked around the building and in every corner said, "You are stupid" to the girl who asked her to do what she have done. The thing is that she dragged me with her while she did that…she wanted me to explain to any teacher who would be around and see such a thing what she did all about…but I did not say anything coz nobody saw us..

Another funny thing was in Ry's turn as well, she was asked to carry "This is a Quiet Area" sign, which she took from the hall in the first floor of J building, and go to Mr. Dn to tell him that she is the one who stool it. That was a challenge but she actually did it ..all of us went with her…F and Ry entered his office while S, Ma and I stayed outside…when Ry said "I stole this", I heard him saying with a funny voice "Why did you steal it?".. I could not help but to laugh…that was the last day for my readiness friends and I wish those who did not pass the TOEFL luck and I say to those who passed it like F "Be strong, the hard work is knocking on your door"

Party!!!...2

My other friend R came to J building looking for me….so we went together to the cafeteria…we did not have a chat with each other for a long time since she got to GE….so that was our last gathering but we really had fun..

R had to leave to the library coz she wanted to study for her next exam and I went to the party, which started at 11 am. I brought "Kushari" which is "rice, macaroni and other stuff mixed together and 'Ma'amool" which is a kind of sweet with dates in it. My aunt helped me a lot preparing them…besides that, F, S and M brought cakes!! So we had three!! We really had fun chatting and laughing…it was a good way to begin the last week in the uni…

In the afternoon, we cut the cakes into peaces and distributed them between the teachers who were still around there. Some of them accepted others said they are in a diet and stuff…but at the end, we run out of cakes…

However, F gave us all a flower with a card…she did not allow us to read it till we leave the uni and it she was right…if she saw me the moment I read her words, she would be shocked to see my tears…well, I guess

Party!!!...1

When F told me about our end of the year party's details, which was in the last Saturday in the university…,I was delighted. The party was only for 5 girls and ONLY for girls .. "Violet Butterfly" "Rocky" "Non Rocky" "Sara" and "BSB lover"….

In the morning, I could not help F and the others with the decorations because I had to study for my humanities exam, which was in the following day. I was in my favorite place "the coffee shop" where I studied for almost two hours from 8-10 am. F then came to introduce me to her little sister who was so cute mashallah!!

Later, I went to J 115 where the party was. I was thrilled when I saw the decorations on the door! It was such a great peace of art! My friends and I were arguing about the one who would take the door with her. I helped them with other decorations on the door and inside the classroom. We hung some pictures of the memories we had in the uni. Ry and I put pictures of our favorite actors. I mean Jared….

Like a Sour Lemon..

Last Tuesday, I was flying above the clouds because of the good presentation I did for my communication class. I will write everything about it in my next blogs. But my happiness did not complete because I heard a bad news when I went back home. My cousin F told me that my granny fell! And broke her leg and an ambulance took her to the hospital!

No was around to take me to the hospital but in the next day M woke me up at 8. When I went to the hospital, I was heartbroken when I saw my granny lying on that bed and our maid with her. I greeted her while my brothers said some jokes to light up the atmosphere. I stayed with her till 12:30 pm and then went home to have lunch with Dad and bros. In the afternoon at 5:30 pm, I went to see her as well and stayed their till around 9 pm.

Friday was the same except that my granny’s sisters and brother and some members of the family came for a visit…the doctor said that he have to do a really dangerous operation or she will have to stay at the hospital for the next 3 months! My father and auntie had a serious decision to make but they end up not signing for it…that made me really relieved.

The house is like a lonely grave without my granny….there is no one to demand me not to go to the university or ask M to cut off his hair or A to behave and study…simply the house was like a sweet lemon when she was around but not it’s like a dry sour lemon.
