Fun in Ramadan!

This holy month is being so quiet and I love its atmosphere. I see my father and brothers more now, in normal days I don’t see those guys much. The university sounds normal to me and I feel like I am more active than the normal days. However, the only classes which gives me a hard time are the business courses.. Enough of that and let me write more interesting stuff.

About 2 weeks ago Mr. D asked me to do a presentation for his level 5 classes, the same I did last year. I was more than happy to accept, I mean I love to help this teacher who I have a long history with. I did the presentations “My life in Zayed University” and he asked me again to come to his classes to help his students with the preparation of the presentations. The thing is that he needed me in Monday, in the first week of Ramadan, my weekly break. However, because Mr. D, Mr. A and their students insisted, I agreed.

So in my first break I prepared myself to be teacher assistance. Mr. D and his students were so nice to me and I was happy to help with their projects. I spent around 4 hours with Mr. D and his classes. He kept me busy and I did not mind at all, I love to do such things anyways! When it was around 1 pm while I was talking with Mr. D after his students were dismissed, we ran into Mr. Tn, the teacher who I was assisting it the CEPA exam.

Mr. D told him that I was helping him with presentations. Mr. Tn wondered if I can do something for his students. I was delighted when he asked me to do such a thing and I immediately agreed. I went with Mr. Tn to meet his class, on the way I told him that I can do a presentation for his class if he liked. He loved the idea and I actually did the presentation for his class though I was not prepared, thanks God I did ok.

It was a busy day with the ELC teachers but still I love helping those people…though it tired me, I had fun! Next week, with God’s well, I am going to mark presentations with Mr. D, Mrs. K and Mr. A

A Different Ramadan!

The holy month of Ramadan has finally arrived bring back some good memories and some sad ones as well. In the past, life was quiet different in Ramadan, Uncle A and my grandpa, God may give them peace, were around with us. I still remember Uncle A and grandpa arriving together from their own home in which they lived together. I still imagine Uncle A holding that bag full of fish and smiling at me. I still remember that day when grandpa did not want to start his breakfast as he thought that they call for it did not start yet…they are countless memories about them as they are not around me anymore which makes Ramadan kinda different without them.

The other thing which I feel like its not like before is granny…she is not with us this Ramadan, she is in the hospital still…its been around 4 months since she have been there. She is really missed during breakfast; I miss her shouting and teasing. She is not around but with God's well she will come back soon

It's been 4 days since Ramadan started everything sounds peaceful so far. The university is really tiring what I mean is the LONG road to it gives me a hard time.

Its been a while...

It's been around hmm 1 month since I last uploaded my blog! I really missed writing in it; however, I did not actually stopped writing during that month. The first event, which did not allow me to write in my blog, was that I had a surgery on my right eye. I used to see double visions with it but now I am much better. My best friends supported me before and after the surgery with phones calls and messages. I had the surgery in August 28; I stay in the hospital for one week and missed the first day at the university.

In my last night at the hospital, I could not sleep at all as I kept staring at the roof wishing if I can be with my friends and teachers in the first day. The next day when I went back home, I did not believe that I was not there for a week. Everything was the same. I could not write or stay much in front of the pc though sometimes I could not control it especially when they were some interesting friends on the msn.

In the following day, I went to the university…to the new campus. I woke up at 5 am and was ready by 5:30 am. I met my friends in the bus first, I was so happy to see them again. The way to the uni was so far, around 100 KM!! I cant describe how happy I was when I first saw "The tower" from a distance. Seeing that place even though I never actually been inside made me really happy and made me forget about the long road.

When I went inside OMG was all what I said! The new campus is really huge! I was speechless; I thought that I would never get to see my teachers or friends. Again.. I was wrong; I saw most of them in that area "the atrium!" I just love it, I could see everyone there more than once!

I went to see my adviser to look over my schedule as I wanted to tell her that I want to be in business. That was the first reason why I broke my medical break to go to the uni. If I am to mention every single thing which happened there, I wont finish.. a lot had happen . Teachers could not stop teasing me about the thing that I was covering my eye with "You look like Jack Spiro!" "Put a black cover and you will look cuter!" .. I really missed that!

As much as I wanted to start my studiesI had to rest and prepare myself for my third year. So I did not go for the next week…but I am back now and I have a lot to write about .. wow! This is a long blog!!I missed you violet rose!
