Night Ride with My Dad

Recently I did not have much time to talk with my dear Dad. Today at 7:00pm I heard the phone ringing and it was him asking if my young bro.. I told him that he went out, so he asked me to open the gate for him – the maid was with my granny in my aunt house-.

We started talking. .. I asked him to take me to the city center but he did not agree because it was late. But he agreed to take in a ride inside UAQ and to see our new house – better than nothing -. I got dressed and I went with him.

In the road we started talking about my university, my teachers, cars, my friends, his friends, our new house… etc. its so nice to talk with him about different stuffs, I don’t see him a lot lately because of my university…

We arrived to our new house, it was the first time I see it at night. We went inside and I became scared of the darkness.. I never allowed myself to let my Dad go out of my sight. I saw the new furniture of my room and it was really wonderful!! .. and the other furniture were nice too!!

He told me that many people asked the shopkeeper – near my new house - about the owner of the house but he did not know my Dad’s name .. I guess that means that people like it mashallah!!

When I went outside to get in the car, I saw a white car near the supermarket.. when it passed by me I was frozen to death!!.. It was moving slowly and the owner was about to open the window!!.. I was thinking “it would be better if I waited for my Dad!” .. then my Dad came and the driver of the car went quickly out of our sight – that was close!!!-

Now, I am all alone at home. Dad went out .. my brothers are with their friend and my granny is in my aunt house.. and I am here writing my blog.. my usual life..
