Chapter 4: Saturday, The Last Day
A woke me up saying that my granny`s sisters arrived. I got dressed and went to greet them. My aunt and her children arrived later, we all had lunch together. Aunty said that they will go to the City Center around the evening, so I asked her to count me in.
My grandma did not complain that much since her sisters will stay with her. So my aunt, her husband, her children, my brother A and I went to the trip --- M did not join, her went with his friend---.
First we went to the beach were we had a walk and bought things. We saw something interesting when we were looking for a parking. MAAAAAAAANNY cars and bikes were in the streets…they said that Shikh was around ,, it was so cool to see all kind of cars…my cousins videoed them
At the City Center, I asked them to go and have dinner and I will catch up with them later because I wanted to go and have a look at one of the shops. I saw my uncle, he told me about the location of the family. After moments I saw my aunt, she did not want to have dinner unless I was with her.
I did not find anything interesting to buy. So I went with her to the restaurants. And wow!! Many people were their and it was hard to spot my cousins and brother. I was surprised to know that F already ordered Happy Meal from McDonalds for me! I shut my mouth and did not complain.
A and my cousin KH went to walk. And my aunt went with little cousin to play with the games. I stayed with F and had a chat with till they came back. I bought some empty CDs and we went home…
The surprising thing though, is that I was not really sad because of this long vacation. I don’t remember the last time I had such a nice holiday. I was really tired of studying and I wanted to relax and reword myself. I feel good now and I am ready for ZU … I recharged my energy and I am near the university ..to be more specific near Al-Qusais Police Station….
