My new Part Time Job

After my team won the Tanmia-Damas Quiz, I felt kind of empty. There was not much to do expect studying and having fun with friends. In short, my life was back to normal. However, I was helping Mr. P with some work for the upcoming ESSC 2007.

In that morning, I was sitting in the coffee shop doing some work for Mr. P. when Mr. T, who was my boss in the CEPA exam last year, came to approach me. He said that I looked bored; I told him that I am doing some work for Mr. P. and had not much to do. “Come with me!” he said. I looked at him like asking for more explanations. He repeated that sentence again. So I left my laptop and followed him.

I went with him to see Ms. H, the one who is in charge of the LEC in the library.He asked her if they need more tutors for students. I looked at Mr. T realizing what he meant by that hassle he made earlier! He was kind enough to get me a job! Ms. H said that they need more and he said that I can be a good one! I thanked both of them for that opportunity.

Now, I am a tutor working on Zayed University’s Library. I have few students now and the good part is that I can work between my breaks. When I have no students, I help with doing stuff around the library: shelving books, setting at the librarian desk, organizing the SRAs…etc.

Working and studying is really tiring but I really feel like I am doing something useful with my life which feels…REALLY GOOD
