Chapter one: Before the Interview

I met F last term; she was kinda mysterious girl to me. Something told me that we may become good friends. And that was true, our friendship started to take its place from the first phone call she made. We found out that we have so many common things between us like old Arabic poems and astronomy.

Since I go to J building a lot lately, I see her more than before! So I get to know her better…once she told me that she wants to do a presentation and she needs my help. Of course it was my pleasure to help her. Her idea was about “People’s Serious Face”. She got the idea of doing interviews with teachers from the Readiness Program.

We started to think of teachers who have a really “Serious Face”. Our choices settled down on Mr. G, Mr. S and Mr. Dn. We arranged appointments with the three of them. She did not do any interviews before, so she asked me if I can show her how….well, I did interviews before and I was more than happy to help her.

In the early morning, we started the first step which was to video me when I was giving an introduction. It did not go well, because one of the India workers kept bothering us on purpose. We had to do it twice, but Mr. PD saw F videoing me and started to make some SILLY movements to make me laugh but he failed!!
