Field Trips

In the first and second weeks of my summer job and exactly in the weekends, Dad decided to take me and my brothers to field trips….to our universities! In the first week, we went to see M's university…The American University of Sharjah. It was HUGE! The fact is that it was in the University City, a place that contains many colleges and universities. I was impressed and enjoyed the place!

The next weekend, we went to ZU's new campus! I was stunned to know how far it is, it is far than I expected it to be! First, I thought that we lost the way coz M drove forward and forward. But once I saw the tower of the university from a distance, I knew that we were on the right road. The new campus was unfinished but looked BIG! We had a drive around it and went back inside Dubai. The traffic was terrible but we managed to get out of the city.

What bugs me now is the long road to the new campus! I think and in order to get to the university before 8 o'clock, we should leave UAQ at 6: 30 or maybe before! In other words, I should wake up before 5 am and hop in the bus at 5:30 am! Wow! That sounds really hard, and I thought that the university may provide students who come from far places with dorms…but I just heard rumors about that nothing more…

Anyways, I cant wait to be there, and if there is dorms or not I would love to go to the university everyday…its one of my joys in life!
